“In this demonstration I will focus on techniques that I think are essential for painting animals. I will share how to evaluate value and color prior to painting, mix neutrals using my favorite colors, and apply masking fluid to create realistic textures and capture fine details without hard edges. While the focus of this demo is animals, these techniques can be applied to almost any subject”
